Captivated by gingerbread houses as a  child, I wanted my own children to experience the wonders of gingerbread houses, and so my gingerbread house journey began. After a few years of trial and error, I created a gingerbread house cookie cutter design. A tradition was born, and memories were made over the years that our gingerbread house party grew. Dinosaurs, tree houses, sleighs, baby grand pianos with movable keys, churches, soup kitchens, grocery stores, Chinese pagodas, beach houses, and more rose up out of the mounds of candy, frosting, and cookies spread out on the table as friends and family gathered to make their own unique gingerbread creations.

In 2006 I decided it was time to share the tradition. It is just too much fun to keep in my kitchen.
